Why is my spaced repetition schedule failing?

I’m in my daily card Que. 5 cards left. Here’s my next card: I know I saw it a day or two ago…so this is too soon. I review it, and mark it to study again in 7 days. (I can see the “7 days” icon…) The same card appears an hour later.

I haven’t gone into “Keep learning”. This is just the cards in my daily que.

This is happening with multiple cards, wasting a great deal of my time slogging through them again far too soon. They are ignoring the repetition time I assign to them. I’m starting a spreadsheet today to track this.

What can I do to prevent this?

Hey! This seems to be a bug that was identified by users earlier. It has since been fixed for most of us with the December update. If you’re still experiencing this issue, you can post a bug report on the official issue tracker on Github.
Also, if you know which cards seem to be showing up too soon, you can zoom into the associated rem and type /meta (View Rem Metadata) to see the review history. It might save you some time while attempting to track the issue.

As of today, December 28th, I’m still experiencing this issue with many cards. Cards I’ve seen and marked not to appear for a week or a month, appearing again today, or tomorrow. I’ll run over to Github. Thanks for the resource! “/meta” helped as well.

January 21rst. Multiple cards are not following the spaced repetition schedule. I’m hoping for a patch. They shouldn’t work on anything else until something basic like this is addressed.
