Writer-friendly export

As a writer, I LOVE using RemNote as a second brain to write from abundance, and to create a detailed outline of my writing.

I would be helped a TON by an export feature that made it quick to produce a manuscript from my outline. It might work like this:

  • When you go to export a page, there would be a new option for “manuscript markdown.”
  • Rather than providing a markdown list of the outline, it would produce paragraphs.

But how would it decide which bullets are a paragraph?

  • Each bullet directly underneath a heading would become a paragraph that included it’s sub-bullets.
  • Headings would receive their markdown equivalent.

Also, links and portals would be exported as text, not linked to anything else.

This would remove the tiresome process of exporting to markdown and trying to make a list a manuscript.

I agree with this suggestion. RemNote has the potential to become more than only a studying tool; it can become also the main writing tool. While the bullets (rems) work for studying, they hinder the flow of a manuscript. Having the option to select a “special writing document” would be a great feature.
