It would be super good if we had more options with the multiple panes feature. I use it a lot but I feel it has much more potencial.
The ability to resize the panes would already be awesome! To go a little further adding more panes as we like is another good path, specially if we could open them in a horizontal split, and not only vertically.

A more advanced implementation could even allow people to set up their own “workspaces”, with certain panes locked in certain places (what currently is the sidebar would be just one of these panels).
As an example, roam has this theme, but I’m not sure whether this is as easy to implement in RemNote.
A bit is possible with CSS, but a proper native implementation is a must.

I found that using multiple browser windows the sync time is ~5-10s which is also not bad for a start (LearnObit for example has proper multi-window support.)
This is supported as of RemNote 1.1
